History

MICROELECTRONICA S.A. is a Romanian SME experienced in semiconductors and optoelectronics devices manufacturing and R&D since 1981.
The company activity is Research, Technology, Innovation, Development and Production in Electrical Sciences and Applied Materials field, Semiconductors and Optoelectronic devices.Specifically, today the Company deals with:
- Pressure/temperature/mass sensors for various applications;
- Ceramic composite materials;
- LED's assembling and packing;
- Rapid Manufacturing technologies.
The Company co-operates with SINTEF Norway, ASM Assembly Products Netherlands, MEMSCAP Norway, TUBITAK Turkey, University of Belgrade etc. in various programs and projects.

- INLOC - Innovative Technology for electro-hydro-dynamic Micropumps
(EHD) with applications in Lab-On-Chip systems
- FRAPANT - Rapid manufacturing of microstructured tip and of
interconnection tube used in epi/peridural anesthesia.
National Research Program 2007:
- MAFF - Thermoelectric materials in shape of nanowires for medical applications in microthermocouples and micro-coolers
- MINAPI - New innovative method of generating maskless 3D nanosurfaces used in industrial applications of high precision
- RAPIDTOP - Rapid manufacturing technology for optic-integrated solutions, custom oriented, by developing and processing of nanomaterials.

- RESPLATEPE - Scientific Network and an Ecological & Technological Platform for Electronic Packaging
- CORAL - Polymeric thin bandage in composite system used in electromagnetic screen manner in microwaves domain
