MAFERO project ended as a great success by creating the Regional Technological Platform for knowledge based production

MANUFUTURE - MAFERO

The role of this platform is to "governate research, technological development and innovation (RTDI) with the purpose of transforming European industry on two levels:

• policy level: promoting the objectives from Lisbon;
• operational level: the convergence of sciences and techologies.
• MANUFUTURE is considered a visionary long term project, by this not labeling any justification to the postponing of its implementation.

VISION 2020 Strategy

• An economy based only on services can't survive long term;
• The industrial transformation is an absolute request;
• Requests a new approach of manufacture,innovative-production(from fixed+capital+work resources to knowledge +capital resources);
• A competitive research-developing sistem, created through many factors.
