THE BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGICAL INCUBATOR INTESA

INTESA Business and Technological Incubator was created to support the innovative SMEs in areas with high potential of economic increase. This support is pointed to SMEs which are willing to take advantage of their research results by transform them in new or improved electronic products and the facility of initiating and developing new innovative enterprises based on electronic technology.

In 2007, according to the President Decision No. 9062/23.02.2007, the Business and Technological Incubator INTESA Microelectronica started to function on the basis of Functioning Authorization Certificate No. 21/25.02.2007, issued by Education & Research Ministry.

The period of functioning of the Business and Technological Incubator INTESA Microelectronica is of 5 years, starting with the date of the authorization issued by ERM.

Mission

The goal of the Incubator is to bring the greatest possible range of assistance and resources to technology based companies at the earliest stage in their growth. On their own such companies are to small to establish strong relationships with banks, business consultants and other business development resources.

The Business and Technological Incubator INTESA offers to new enterprises with chance of development and to those who are interested in setting up productive enterprises, support to realise and promote innovative products.

The main objectives of the Business and Technological Incubator are:

• Faciliting the initiation and development of new enterprises /innovative SMEs based on advanced technology
• Establishing an efficient relationship between technological and antreprenorial potential
• Correlating the activities of the Business and Technological Incubator INTESA with the other enterprises activities
• Promotion of cooperation between the main partners at a regional and local level for the realization of a sustainable economic development
• The establishment of partnerships and organization of information exchange between associations, foundations, national and international university centres, including affiliation to organisms which are promoting the incubator’s objectives
• Technologic transfer of the results of the research to the economic agents interested in producing new products or packages of products with value of competitiveness and to sell them on internal and external markets
• To form the young researchers
• To integrate the students and the graduates in the economic and social environment
• To use the results of research, to apply the cutting age technologies in economy and to support the implication of universities in the process of social and economic development

At the moment the Business and Technological Incubator INTESA has incubated two enterprises:
