FRAPANT - Rapid manufacturing of microstructured tip and of interconnection tube used in epi/peridural anesthesia

The project is dedicated to create a new innovative manufacturing technology of microstructured tips used in epi/ peridural anesthesia. The special form and 3D structure as the dimensions of these tips allow a smaller risk distinction (incidents and complications) at back anesthesia and regional anesthesia and also reduces the time for recuperation after anesthesia. The proposed technology, European patent DE 103 00 452 A1 belonging to SC Microelectronica SA represents an innovative application of new rapid manufacturing techniques, customer oriented of microproducts based on UV polymer materials.
Based on a study upon methods and techniques of VMI interconnections to the injection flexible tube known worldwide, will be developed the experimental model for all VMI/Flexible injection tube.
The objective of the project represents an innovative solution for achieving the VMI / flexible injection tube assembly which has as targeted market (obstetrics, orthopedics, etc.), located in a dynamic and sustained growth of regional anesthesia, aiming at modern comfort collaboration surgeon - anaesthetist - patient respectively the safety and quality of healthcare.
The basic Microelelctronica S.A. outlets are Romania and EU countries, especially Norway, Germany and Netherland. To compete on the European market, Microelectronica S.A. had cliched partnerships of collaboration and production with Memscap, microeTec and ASM Netherland.
In order to make this feasible, the collaboration with European entreprises and the implementation of competitive technologies/products, including here the innovative technology for VMI/Flexible injection tube, is necessary.
